Head Winemaker
Tom Montgomery brings over 40 years of winemaking experience, and has worked with the vines at Trestle Glen Vineyards for almost 20 years.
A graduate of Fresno State in Viticulture and Enology, he has served as head winemaker for many high-quality producers in the Napa, Sonoma, and Central Valleys. He continues to cultivate the next generation of wine producers at his alma mater, Fresno State.
We are very grateful that Tom has agreed to stay on and continue the tradition of award-winning winemaking with our family.
Assistant Winemaker
Melissa Smith is a graduate of Sonoma State University and a San Francisco Bay Area native.
Since 2012, she has been honing her skills as winemaker at producers such as BR Cohn and Papagani Wineries, and has worked in the wine industry for almost two decades.
Enologist
Derek Irwin boasts almost 30 years of experience in the wine industry.
A graduate of the University of California, Davis, he has worked with vineyards and wineries to produce premium varietals and wines across Northern California. He currently runs his own Napa based consulting firm, Madura Consulting, LLC.
